Health Care Community – The Haven
We were notified this afternoon that we have one resident in The Haven that has tested positive for COVID-19. The resident is asymptomatic and is isolated in our COVID unit.
As per our policy, we continue to test all Health Care Community employees and residents twice a week until we have two weeks in a row of all negative cases.
All staff follows the core principles of COVID-19 infection prevention. Employees continue to be screened daily for signs/symptoms before their shift.
We will keep you posted as we continue to receive test results. This new variant is highly contagious and we expect to see new cases present.
