The Haven at Brandermill Woods's overall rating is Five Stars on the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) website. We proudly announced a new initiative to thank our Caregiving professionals for going above and beyond during the global coronavirus pandemic. Caregiving professionals have always been "essential" workers. But during the unprecedented crisis brought on by COVID-19, Caregiving professionals have met the challenge with extraordinary selflessness, grit, and courage. Beginning in January 2022 we will honor our heroes with a new Staff Appreciation initiative and encourage you to join us in showing your gratitude.
Chesterfield County COVID-19 positivity rate on the CDC website continues to decrease but at a slow pace, it is 26.86% as of today.
All residents in The Haven continue to test negative for COVID-19. We had four employees test positive for COVID-19 this week and they are quarantined at home.
One resident in the Memory Care Unit remains positive for COVID-19, however, all other residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care tested negative for COVID-19. Visits will not be allowed until the resident clears and test negative due to the special services provided.
As per our policy, we continue to test all Health Care Community employees and residents twice a week until we have two consecutive weeks of all negative cases. All employees follow the core principles of COVID-19 infection prevention.
Please do not visit your loved one and contact your doctor if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms, sore throat, severe lingering headache, sinus/head pressure, head congestion, runny nose, nausea, cough, and fatigue.
